We all started at Square One!
The main reason so many would-be runners fail is that they try to skip steps and not start at Square One, not start at the appropriate, logical beginning for them. To succeed, you must figure out where your Square One is and begin there. Podcast #57 comes out tomorrow, and it is about figuring out your Square 1. That's my great friend, Nancy. We've both been running for decades; fortunately, we both identified the right Square One for us. We've both had our ups and downs. Running has gotten us both through hard times and brought us great adventure.

We all started at Square One!
Intro
Hi, My husband's doctor told him he needed more cardio. We went to the gym only once and then we needed to figure out something else we could do spur of the moment and it was running. We even walk the dog more on our rest days so win win.

Definitely a win win! Nice to meet you Nichole! That's what I love about running. I used to do triathlons, but they were just so complicated compared to running. I can run from my front door. Only need shoes.

@Nichole Rairigh Best kind of date! From now on, when you plan a vacation, you'll be googling "best places to run in _______."

Please hop over to the Questions for Deb category and ASK me anything. I'm dropping it in the General Discussion category for now to make sure everyone sees it. : )

Run Tampa's Weekend
What did you do, yesterday? Did you get any miles in? You know the saying, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"? Well, that was on my mind as we ran. The humidity was off the charts, but we gritted it out. The reward is always the camaraderie of time with friends.

Big News! The Podcast is Back and More!
Hey all! In case you haven't seen it, I've relaunched the podcast, and the first two episodes are live. I've been working on it for several months. Of course, they address people at the very beginning, behind where you are, but I bet you'd still enjoy it. Tried t be super motivating because, as you all know, that's critically important. WHAT's DIFFERENT: The 'Village' is free. That's the General Discussion area for people to interact and share wins, etc. I'll pop in every day to answer questions, simple ones that only require a couple of sentences to answer. There is also be a Cadence/Breathing masterclass pinned to the top of the General Discussion category. Then, there will be a paid tier for $12 a month, to start. Those people will have access to the Classroom. I've reorganized the information I had there before and added stuff. Perhaps the most important feature of the paid tier is the return of Beginner Dinners, but they'll be once a month, ongoing, every second Thursday, at 6:30 p.m. They'll differ from last time in that they'll be entirely Q & A. People can submit questions ahead of time in the Questions for Deb category, prefacing the questions with, "This is for the next Beginner Dinner." You - because you're special due to being in my first Skool class - will automatically be in the premium tier, no fee. I hope you'll resume the conversion in the General Discussion area. I want to hear from you all. One thing you'll notice is that I've updated - slightly modified and simplified - the training schedule. You'll see continuing changes and additional information over the next week or so as I continue to build it out.

@Annabel Abrahams Thanks, Annabel. Hope all is well.

@Annabel Abrahams That usually happens, and with those specific muscles being stronger, you'll likely never experience any injury in that area again, as long as you continue the exercises.
