Featured Book: Untangled
Congratulations to @Kim Job for officially publishing her first book. A message from Kim: After some hard things happened to me as a kid (abuse, foster care, homelessness) I became hyper independent and spent my whole life pushing, proving, and perfecting to be loved. I knew I could achieve anything I set my mind to. What I didn’t know is that achievement would be my deepest story to untangle. 👉 ORDER YOUR COPY HERE That’s what this book is. Not a theory I studied, but the things I lived and the path I walked to find my way out.Untangled gives you a mirror. You will see your own survival strategies and the stories you're still operating inside. And then it gives you a map. It shows you how to dissolve the stories and lead from your True Self. The part that was never tangled. Because no matter what happened to you, you get to CHOOSE what happens next. I'm also holding an 8 week Live Untangled Book Experience where we'll be walking through the book together. I don't want this to be just another book you read. I want it to shift your world. Get all the details about the book and the experience here: https://coachandkim.com/untangled

@Kate DuBois Thanks, Kate! Love having you in my community. 💞
It worked the way it's supposed to!
I just wanted to share that for the very first time tonight I had a call with someone because they found me through my book! It was the first time someone’s gotten on my calendar that I didn’t have any previous knowledge of (usually I know who they are). When I asked how he found me, it was from reading my book. I feel like I’m way more excited about it than I should be, but also I’m relishing in the moment!

This is such a fun win! Thanks for sharing.
From “Dear Diary” to 12+ Published Books
There’s something about those black and white composition notebooks that takes me right back to elementary school. Every morning, our teacher would write a journal prompt on the chalkboard. We’d open our notebooks, date the page, and start writing. No overthinking. No perfectionism. Just words on paper. Then I’d come home and grab my little diary and write, “Dear Diary…” followed by whatever felt dramatic and important in my world at the time. The 90s really had us believing our stories mattered. And they did. Writing was fun back then. I wasn’t the “best” writer in class. My graded essays weren’t winning awards. But I loved the process of putting thoughts into words. I just didn’t realize that those tiny daily habits were building something in me. If you had told that little girl with the glitter pen that one day she’d have 12+ books published and over $100,000 in royalties from self-publishing, she probably wouldn’t have believed you. But here we are. What changed wasn’t talent. It was commitment. Learning how to use Amazon KDP turned something I genuinely enjoy into an income stream that shows up month after month. That’s powerful. Not just because of the money, but because of what it represents. Ownership. Creativity. Leverage. And I know there are people in this community who have been telling themselves for years, “One day I’ll write a book.” One day turns into next year. Next year turns into “when things calm down.” And life keeps getting in the way. If that’s you, I want you to know you’re not behind. But you do have to decide. For a limited time, I’m choosing to work closely with a small group of people who are ready to stop talking about it and finally get it done. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to take your writing seriously and see what’s possible, this might be it. 👉 DETAILS HERE Your story still matters. The only question is — are you ready to finish it? 📚✨

@Krista Brea Oh my gosh! Yes! And all the cheap stickers. And I also LOVED my Trapper Keeper and getting it ready for school every year.

@Sandra Sania I'm working with a publisher on this one, but I always have ideas percolating.
Marketing Your Book Starts NOW
💥 It’s never too early to start marketing your book. Most people think marketing starts after the book is published. That’s already too late. If you’re even thinking about writing a book, here’s what you can start doing now: • Talk about your book idea on social media • Share what you’re learning as you research and write • Start building a small list of beta readers • Begin growing an email list early • Think about how your book fits into a bigger ecosystem 🔥 Your book shouldn’t be the finish line — it should be the front door. Before your outline is done, ask yourself: - What action do I want readers to take next? - Could this book lead to a course, a community, coaching, or a free resource? - How can this book collect data and build my audience? Personally, I add QR codes inside my books that send readers to opt-ins, resources, or next steps. That way, the book keeps working long after the sale. Highly recommend checking out @Jeff Baer and his community Skool Bio Profits he will hook you up with some custom QR codes! 👉 So even if: - You haven’t outlined yet - You’re still validating your topic - You’re at the very beginning Start thinking bigger than just “publishing a book.” Think strategy, ecosystem, and long-term leverage. Your future self will thank you. 👇 DROP IN THE COMMENTS WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO TO START GENERATING AWARENESS ABOUT THE BOOK YOUR WORKING ON

I've been talking about the writing and editing process. Sharing reels and behind the scenes clips of me writing. I have a waiting list for the book. I mention it in a lot of places and conversations. I'm thinking about what I want to do when it launches. I think a live book club in my community would be fun.
Collab > Competition — Drop Your Community
I want to share a story around a decision I made yesterday. I removed @Al Anderson from the group due to spam. This community has a zero-spam policy, and I take that seriously. My goal is to protect this space so members aren’t flooded with unsolicited DMs or pitches from people who aren’t here to contribute. That said, this has never been an anti-collaboration community. After a conversation, AI Anderson shared that his intention was to learn about books and participate without spamming. I’m open to second chances when intentions are clear and boundaries are respected. So here’s the line I’m drawing clearly: 👉 No spam. No cold pitching. No unsolicited DMs. 👉 Collaboration and community are welcome—when done openly and respectfully. To support that, I’m opening this one thread for visibility and connection. 👇 In the comments, feel free to share: - Who you are - How you help people - A link to your community (if you have one) This keeps everything transparent, optional, and respectful for everyone here. Thanks for helping keep this community valuable.

I'm Kim. I'm a Self Leadership & Master StoryCoach™️. I lead a powerful Skool community with my husband. We combine inner storywork with 20 years of strategic online business expertise. What sets our business apart is where we work from. Most business coaches focus on strategy, steps, and tactics. We focus on identity and nervous system safety first, because that’s where real change actually sticks. We shift the person running the business, and everything else shifts from there. 🌀 And it’s so much fun!! Come join us in Activate Your Impact and remember how powerful you really are.

@Krista Brea The steps and processes are important, but if the person trying to do the steps and processes holds themselves back (for a variety of reasons), they still aren't going to work. Or will be done fueled by the wrong energy (fear vs. possibility) and still won't work.
