I sat down with my very good friend Heather Di Rocco from AI in Wonderland to talk about the events she runs. At least, that was the plan. We did talk events. We also talked AI, automation, summits, collaborative events, saving people hours of work, disappearing down technological rabbit holes… and somehow ended up discussing Heather’s greatest asset. I’ll let you watch the interview to discover how THAT happened. 😂 But underneath all the laughter, there’s a really interesting approach to why Heather creates events in the first place. She actually admitted: “I create them for me. I create them for the things that I wish I knew.” And I rather love that. Because she then looks at what people are struggling with and asks, could AI make this easier? That’s where her events come from. Her goal isn’t to have you leave thinking, Well, that was clever. She wants you to leave being able to automate just one thing — something that genuinely gives you some time back. And Heather knows her stuff. Before AI in Wonderland, she spent 20 years as a counterintelligence specialist, working in intelligence analysis, casework and digital forensics. So when you give her a technological Rubik’s Cube, her brain immediately starts looking for the patterns and figuring out how the pieces connect. I know that firsthand because she once came to my rescue when one of my grand ideas for Skool Events Daily went spectacularly pear-shaped. I was ready to pull my hair out. Heather looked at it, sorted it and made the whole thing look ridiculously easy. So I put her on the spot with six questions about her events, who she creates them for, what she wants people to get from them and why someone should take a chance and come along. Her answer to that last one? “The only limit of AI is your imagination.” You need me, obviously. 😁 But you might discover you need this Heather too. 👇 Watch our conversation here: And Grab some of Heathers wisdom here
