What's YOUR Skool?
Let’s make it ridiculously easy to understand what everyone here does. 👇 Drop your Skool + finish this sentence: “My community helps xyz __________________ do xyz.” Don't have a Skool yet? Share with us your dream situation. That’s it! Don't stress about getting it pitch perfect 😂 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘: After you comment, find ONE person whose community sounds interesting and reply to them. Community growth gets a lot easier when we share the love and go outside of our own borders...so to speak! Let's build relationships the best we can. 👇 Your turn!

Show us your “Start Here” flow 👀
Your new member experience matters. When someone joins your Skool, they should immediately know: 1. Where to begin 2. What action to take first 3. How to get a quick win 4. How to introduce themselves 5. What to do next after their first step 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: What is the first thing new members see when they join your Skool? Drop a screenshot, outline, or quick description of your current Start Here flow. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁: My community is for: The first thing members see is: The first action I ask them to take is: One thing I want to improve is: 𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲: ✅ A short welcome message ✅ A clear first step ✅ An intro post or comment prompt ✅ A quick-win resource ✅ A simple path to the next lesson, thread, or challenge ✅ Clear expectations for how to participate Bonus tip: Keep it simple. Your Start Here flow should feel like a guided path, not a maze. Post yours below and let’s help each other make onboarding cleaner, clearer, and easier to follow.

Why I Cancelled My Skool Pro Account
This past Friday, I finally pulled the plug on the $99/month plan for this community, and I’m glad I did. Why? Well let me tell you. First, this community is not my primary business and its growth is intentionally slow which makes it a perfect candidate for the $9/month plan. Second, I was also paying for Zapier to automate the collection of emails but that connection is not optimal (part of the pro plugins). How so? Well, Zapier was sending the new member’s email to my CRM before I could say yes or no. No bueno. I only want approved people’s data in my CRM. (Needless to say Zapier is also out!) Finally, I felt by using the Pro version, I was losing touch with those who don’t use it. And that’s also no bueno. I need to see what my members experience so that I can better serve them. >>> and another housekeeping thing I did… I added 2 member questions as part of the onboarding process. Now when someone wants to join the group or wishes to interact with the group, they need to answer those questions. See attached. Why did I do this? This is another way for me to see how I can help and if the member is aligned with the focus of this group. It’s all about alignment friends! ✅ Now, what are you doing this week to align your group with your goals?

Thank you fro this post! I've been thinking that I need to move to the $99/mo plan for these actual features but I see now that I don't!

@Carolina Velis that was my thought about mine too. I'm not sure how I'm monitizing my comminity just yet but that's ok!
‼️Delete Your About Links NOW!
Skool has announced that starting this week, Skool’s algorithm will penalize communities that send people away from their About page to external sites. There’s more changes coming which I’ll share in a bit. But for now, go make sure your About page doesn’t have any links embedded.
