The Prayer Life of Jesus Wk 3 Day 3
Discussion questions 1. Why is it sometimes difficult to surrender a desired outcome to God? 2. How can you distinguish surrender from passivity or avoidance? 3. What is one area where you need to move from praying about obedience to taking a faithful next step? Day 3 activation: The surrender prayer Invite participants to complete these statements privately: 1. Father, this is what I desire: What outcome am I hoping for? 2. Father, this is what I fear: What am I afraid might happen if I do not get my preferred outcome? 3. Father, this is what Your Word teaches: What biblical truth must guide my decision? 4. Father, this is what I need to surrender: What preference, fear, or demand for control do I need to release? 5. Father, this is my next faithful step: What action can I responsibly take in obedience to Scripture? Take time to pray through Matthew 26:39 and write a brief personal prayer of surrender. Declaration: I will bring my desires honestly before God, submit my will to His wisdom, and obey His Word. I will not confuse surrender with defeat or uncertainty with the absence of faith.

A Prayer of Surrender Father, I come before you today with open hands and an open heart. 🤲🏽 Thank you for reminding me through your Word that nothing is too hard for you (Genesis 18:14). You are the Creator of all things, and your power and wisdom are absolute (Jeremiah 32:17). Lord, you know my heart's desire and my current plans to learn how to become a skilled prophetic intercessor through this P.U.S.H. membership. I want to grow, and develop as you’ve planned for me. But just as Jesus prayed in the garden, "Not as I will, but as you will" (Matthew 26:39), I lay my own plans, timelines, and expectations at your feet today. - Take my desires: I submit my goals for this membership to your greater wisdom. - Overrule my decisions: If you have a different route, a different timing, or a completely different plan for how you want to develop me as an intercessor, I willingly step aside. - Trust your goodness: I choose to believe that your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, and your plans are infinitely better than mine. Develop me, mold me, and train me in the exact way you see fit. Not my will, but yours be done. (Song Anchor: "Goodness of God Live” by CeCe Winans). In Jesus Name, Amen.🤲🏽🙏🏾

I’m happy to be in an online prayer group that includes an opportunity to learn more about biblical intercession. I especially like hearing a mature response to my comments. The feedback is very encouraging and helpful in examining my thinking process 🧐

Prayer life of Jesus wk 3 day 2
Discussion questions Have you ever said yes to something simply because you felt pressured? How can you distinguish a good opportunity from a responsibility that truly belongs to you? What safeguards can help you test a perceived direction from God? Day 2 activation: The discernment filter Ask participants to bring one opportunity or decision to the following five-part filter: Scripture: Does it align with biblical truth? Motives: Why do I want to pursue it? Wisdom: What facts, preparation, and counsel do I need? Responsibilities: What existing commitments could be affected? Readiness: Am I prepared to accept the cost and responsibility involved? Remember that peace can be helpful, but the absence of anxiety does not automatically establish God's approval, and the presence of difficulty does not automatically mean a decision is wrong. Prayer focus: Lord, sharpen my discernment. Help me recognize what deserves my attention, test my impressions by Your Word, and remain faithful to the responsibilities You have placed before me. Declaration: I will not be led by pressure alone. I will pursue biblical wisdom, test what I believe, and seek to honor God in my prioritie s.

The READINESS Process: Five-Part Discernment Filter Core Question: Should I upgrade to Premium/VIP while attending the P.U.S.H. Prayer School? I. Scripture Base (The Foundation of Light) - Divine Inspection: Invite God to search the heart, test thoughts, and expose any hidden anxieties or wrong directions (Psalm 139:23-24). - Illumination: Trust that the Lord acts as a personal lamp, actively turning personal darkness and uncertainty into clear light (2 Samuel 22:29). II. Motives (The Alignment of Heart) - Hatred of Falsehood: Use God's commandments to gain true understanding and actively reject false paths or deceptive shortcuts (Psalm 119:104). - Step-by-Step Guidance: Depend on the Word as a daily lamp for immediate steps and a flashlight for the future path (Psalm 119:105). - Sustained Momentum: Rely on the Lord to keep the inner lamp burning consistently through seasons of transition (Psalm 18:28). - Prophetic Expectation: Anchor the heart in the truth that things are shifting for the better (Song Anchor: "Turning Around For Me" by VaShawn Mitchell). III. Wisdom (The Path of Instruction) - Following the Light: Commit to walking closely behind Jesus, the ultimate light of life, to completely avoid walking in spiritual darkness (John 8:12). - The Cycle of Correction: Embrace the standard of Biblical boundaries (Proverbs 6:23). - Command: Promptly follow the directive. - Teaching: Gain understanding behind the rules. - Instruction/Correction: Welcome adjustments that fix mistakes and realign personal values with God's standards. - Total Submission: Commit to seeking His will in every decision, trusting Him to carve out the exact path to take (Proverbs 3:3-6). - Active Listening: Maintain a posture of intentional silence to hear what God is saying (Song Anchor: "Listen" by Marvin Sapp). - Gratitude & Assessment: Reflect on past storms and valleys where God provided protection and a way out (Song Anchor: "Kept Me" by Marvin Sapp & Tamela Mann).
The Prayer Life of Jesus.
Day 1 Activation Ask: “If God answered every prayer I prayed this week, would I still want to spend time with Him?” That question exposes whether prayer has become primarily transactional or relational. Day 1 Prayer Focus Father, teach me to desire Your presence, not simply Your provision. Make prayer a place of relationship, not merely a place of requests.

There have been 5 generations before me of ministers who loved God. My mother awakened us with fresh songs from heaven that she taught us to sing 🎶 (although I am not a good singer lol 😂). Dad taught us how to pray. My great grandmother taught us bible history. Because of that experience, It’s hard to separate myself from praise and prayer throughout the day. But, it’s not the same as the Holy Spirit joining me or interacting with me, telling me a joke or saying something thought provoking. It’s those times of fellowship that I cherish. He’s my dear friend and I love him. Translating from personal experiences in my relationship with the Lord into public sharing with others is difficult 😥 for me. That’s why Biblical training is so important to me. I want accountability and guidance so I can truly discern what I am experiencing.
