Berberine + Bergamot
Hey team, Today's Wednesday video is live. The breakdown on Berberine and Bergamot, the two plant compounds I use to control ApoB in patients who do not want a statin. Quick version. Berberine works through the same mechanism as a PCSK9 drug. It tells your liver to build more receptors that pull ApoB-containing particles out of your bloodstream. Bergamot works through a statin-adjacent mechanism, lightly modulating the same enzyme statins block, but with significantly fewer side effects. Combined, the published data shows ApoB reductions of 20 to 30 percent. The 2015 Toth imaging study in Cardiovascular Therapeutics showed measurable reduction in carotid intima-media thickness, which is the earliest arterial wall marker. Real ultrasound. Real patients. Watch the full clinical walkthrough here: [YouTube Video] **THE PRODUCTS I CURRENTLY USE** These are the specific brands on my desk right now. Third-party tested, standardized extracts, what I would put my own family on. Berberine: [Product Link] Code: maurice20 (for 20% discount) Bergamot BPF (must be BPF standardized, not generic bergamot): [Product Link] Product name: MEGA+0 Magnesium glycinate: [Product Link] Code: maurice20 (for 20% discount) Nitrate (beetroot-derived): [Product Link] Code: NOSKOOL20 (20% discount for Students) **Reminder.** Berberine has significant drug interactions, particularly with metformin, warfarin, cyclosporine, and some antidepressants. Run it past your pharmacist before starting if you are on medications. Drop your ApoB number and questions in the comments below. I will read each one personally and respond..

I’m on the hunt for a quality dihydroberberine. Does anyone know of any reputable brands?

Fantastic! Thank you! @Maurice Daher
Tinea Versicolor
Good morning @Maurice Daher could you explain the cause, how to go about healing Tinea Versicolor? Is it a symptom of an imbalance in the gut? Could past trauma stored in the tissues be a driver? It has become less aggressive with 5 months of carnivore, specifically less itchy, be still is present and flairs with heat and sweat. Have just begun using a Dead Sea soap containing Dead Sea mud and activated charcoal (i heard sea salt can be helpful) But again, would love your wisdom on how to go about healing the root cause of this. Thank you thank you

@Maurice Daher thank you for your advice and encouragement here. In regards to Vitamin D, his last test was a 49.7. 2 months prior it was a 93.9 and a month prior to that it was 74.2. Leading up to the 93.9 he was supplementing, with it being winter and low sun exposure, but then removed supplement upon seeing an upper number and as sun exposure went up. (I also wondered if his workouts, and/or carnivore lifestyle were beginning to produce high D as his body was releasing it from stored adipose tissue. Can this happen? If you think its wise, i will add supplements back in for a while to help support his immune system during this adaptation phase (5 months carnivore) Also, what is the best way to test copper and zinc? Have been using a full spectrum humid fulvic mineral supplement from BEAM Minerals, for a year and a half, but have never done any kind of mineral testing know. I will stay focused on the basics though, and remember that the body will heal when it is properly supported. 😌

COMMUNITY UPDATE; Trust, Certification, and What's Next
Where This Community Is Going (Read This) Starting today, the 7-day free trial is gone. Too many people were coming in, copying the work, and leaving. That goes against what we're building here. This community runs on trust and real application — not extraction. So here's the new standard: If you post a question and you have not acknowledged the COMMUNITY TRUST by commenting "AGREED", your question will not be answered. This protects the environment for the people who are serious. _____ On certification — addressing @Travis Miller 's question for everyone: Yes. All courses are in the process of being registered. If approved, certification will be awarded so you can work with clients in the near future. Once that's in place, more courses will follow, covering: - Insurance - Business setup - Client handling - The practical tools you'll actually use day-to-day There will be two final exams: - One multiple choice - One full case study where you build a complete protocol for a real client scenario Pass mark is 85% or higher. No shortcuts. Nothing to stress about right now — this is just where the system is going. As long as you keep contributing and applying the work, I'll keep supporting you all the way into working with your own clients. Stay patient. Stay consistent. Keep applying. Comment "AGREED" below if you're in. Then tell me one thing from the lessons you've actually applied this week — that's how I know who's serious.

Agreed! Love the material. It’s so clear and concise. And the protocols are simple to follow without feeling overwhelming. I have incorporated salt water first thing in the mornings followed by a walk and squats and/or planks. Along with the NO, taurine, glycine stack. Adding salt water before my meals has also been so helpful with my struggles with digestion. So thankful to be here!
