I am so extremely proud of our two teams who just competed in France! They faced adversity, but posted the 2nd fastest 1K time out of 174 breast cancer teams! Unbelievable strength and determination! Sorry to have missed out on this! Let’s give them some big love!!!

Some of you paddle year round (lucky!) but for many the season ends in September/October. If you've been considering getting your steering competency, now's a good time to jump into the courses —before you come off the water. Why? Even if you don't get a whole lot of oar time, you'll be able to observe how your club steers handle different situations, how your club approaches team and boat safety, and so much more. For us this team is literally life and death. Very sadly we lose teammates like Deann who is featured in this story. This was a very special experience for our team that has led to many additional stories (including one that won 2 local Emmy’s). It’s definitely worth a watch to see how breast cancer drives our mission.
