💵 SEXY SALES SEPTEMBER IS HERE - AND WE'RE STARTING WITH PREP, NOT PRESSURE
Sexy Sales September officially kicks off Sept 7. But this week - Sept 1st through the 6th - is YOUR prep week. No posting required yet. Just getting your backend in order. Here's your homework before we go live. Drop your answers below in this thread: 1. What's your offer? Write it in ONE clear sentence. 2. Who is it for? Not "everyone." Get specific. 3. Do you have a way to get paid, easily? Find your link, test it, make sure it works TODAY. 4. Do you have somewhere to send people who want to learn more first? A sales page, a link in bio, a one-pager, an automated DM keyword? 5. What's the pattern you see in clients, over and over, before they ever work with you? This is also the week to ask your questions. Confused about anything, not sure how something applies to your offer, want a gut check on your answers above - drop it in this thread. Get it all sorted THIS week so when Sept 7 hits, you're not scrambling, you're just showing up and filming. Before you film your first video, go watch these - I think they're done really well: - Shelby Sapp - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcRJCWNg1tO/?igsi=MTh3eGRhajBvOWV4NA== - Jamie Sea - https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dcb6kG0CeFG/?igsi=MTk3b2I4YjNycWwzcg== - A few of my own posts https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaVwwYZR0Hi/?igsi=MXZwamg1MjB1bG9lbw== - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZShF0MzYwd/?igsi=eWpxdmI1YnRraTJs Notice the pattern across all of them: the video stays loose, real, no ask. The caption is where the whole sell lives. That's the shape. Yours will look nothing like theirs. One more thing while you're in prep mode - sales is a numbers game. One post a day is not the job. The job is the conversation after.

Want me to audit your video?
Out Loud Fam! One of our members @Cynthia Carr is crushinggggg it with her video audits for her business and her UGC clients! If you haven't checked them out go look on Cynthia's page! So with that being said, I would love to audit your video on my IG. It would be the first few seconds of your video and then I would give my feedback on how to improve it. You know what I always say — be willing to be seen imperfect, messy and mid-evolution out loud!! Who is brave enough to have me audit your video on my IG? It can be scripted or an unscripted video. Drop your link to any of your videos and I'll select a few! This will be done in September! xoxo Vasavi

Skills Assessment
@Vasavi Kumar Vasavi, I have a question that is a little outside of the usual Out Loud content. Does Out Loud School have, or do you know of, a reputable skills or career assessment that helps someone identify transferable skills and the types of roles or industries those skills could translate into? After almost four decades in fitness, I am seriously considering what I could do outside of the industry. I honestly do not need the next thing to be my passion or even something I love. I need to understand what I am already qualified to do, and what may require a reasonable bridge in skills or training. I am not looking for a “what do you want to be when you grow up” assessment. I need something practical that can look at the work I have done, leadership, program building, coaching, communication, operations, business ownership, etc., and help me understand where those skills have value outside of fitness. If you have anything in TOLS or can point me to an assessment or resource you trust, I would really appreciate it. Be Well

@Heather Williams I love this question, and it is not outside Out Loud content at all. You are asking how to name what you already do. That is the whole thing. The Out Loud School does not have a formal assessment, but here is the one place I would send you, and it is free. The CareerOneStop Skills Matcher. It is run by the Department of Labor. You rate yourself on 40 workplace skills, it takes about fifteen minutes, and it hands you back a list of careers that match your pattern, with salaries attached. No dream job questions. Skills in, jobs out. careeronestop.org/Toolkit/Skills/skills-matcher.aspx Then do one more thing that will tell you more than any assessment. Pull up real job postings and read the requirements line by line. But do not type in fitness instructor. Type in what you actually did. Behavior change. Habit formation. Client retention. Adult coaching. Program design. Women's health. Because 38 years of getting midlife women to keep a routine is not a fitness skill. It is the skill every health company, every subscription business, and every HR department is trying to hire for right now and cannot find. Search under the wrong word and you will find nothing. Search under the right one and you will find a lot. And once you know the words, the next part is saying them out loud in a room that has never set foot in a gym. That is exactly what September is all about in The Out Loud School. Sexy Sales. Knowing how to sell yourself. So you are in the right place at the right time, and I cannot wait to see what you do with this.
⚡ AUDACIOUS AUGUST | DAY 11 — The "Things Nobody Told You" Post
Why this prompt: A list of the quiet parts nobody says out loud is the fastest way to feel like an insider giving away the real information. BEAT 1 — THE HOOK Frame it as the debrief nobody gave you — that's what makes people save it. Try one of these, or write your own in the same spirit — use whatever feels like YOU: • Things no one tells you about [topic] before you're in it. • What I wish someone had told me before I started. • The parts of this nobody warns you about. BEAT 2 — SHARE YOUR WHY (KEEP IT TIGHT) List 3-5 real things about your topic your audience probably doesn't know going in — things you learned the hard way. Be specific, not vague. Save the sharpest one for last. BEAT 3 — THE CLOSE Pick one: • Which of these did you not know? • This is exactly why I share this stuff. • Mic drop: Now you know. POST IT Film it on your phone. Post it — Reel, Story, Carousel, whatever. Comment on at least 5 other members' videos. Drop your LINK here — not the video — Day 11: [Link]. To copy it: open your post on Instagram/TikTok, tap Share, tap Copy Link, then paste it here. DO NOT upload your actual video file in this thread — post it on social, drop the link here, then go comment on 5 other people's real videos on social. Tag #AudaciousAugust #OutLoud.

⚡ AUDACIOUS AUGUST | DAY 19 — The Opinion Poll
Why this prompt: A poll on something people already have feelings about generates the fastest, most honest engagement you'll get. BEAT 1 — THE HOOK Name something with strong pre-existing feelings attached, then ask directly. Try one of these, or write your own in the same spirit — use whatever feels like YOU: • What's your least favorite piece of advice in this industry? • Poll: does this actually bother you, or is it just me? • Strong opinions only — what's the take you can't stand? BEAT 2 — SHARE YOUR WHY (KEEP IT TIGHT) Name something your audience already has strong feelings about — a myth, a common recommendation, a cultural assumption. Ask for their honest take, poll-style. BEAT 3 — THE CLOSE Pick one: • Vote, then tell me why. • This is exactly the kind of thing I love debating. • Mic drop: Curious what you all think. POST IT Film it on your phone. Post it — Reel, Story, Carousel, whatever. Comment on at least 5 other members' videos. Drop your LINK here — not the video — Day 19: [Link].
