I just did this rose today on the fake skin. So much different from tattooing on skin. But I wanted to show my progress in tattooing. The one rose was first of many tattoos I’ve done. It was the 8th tattoo I did. It was from January of 2022. I never actually realized how much progress I have made until I looked back at that and realized I am getting somewhere with my tattooing. The rose isn’t perfect but it is wayyyy better than the first one. Sometimes I find myself getting stuck in my head thinking I’m not good and then I don’t draw for a little bit, but then I find my groove again and realize how much joy and happiness this career brings me. I have learned so much and have sooo much more learning to do but I am very grateful and happy where I am at right now. I’m starting to get more and more clients, people that I don’t know so this is a great start. When I was growing up I never thought I would be a tattoo artist and now I couldn’t imagine what life would be like without it. Thanks for looking!!:))

Oh I forgot to add, I wanted to test my skills. This was all done with a 21 flat mag. I have never done a tattoo without lining it first so I am pretty happy with how it turned out!!!

Hey guys, I just wanted to show the octopus tattoo that I pretty much much finished up. There’s still a few details left to add but it is basically all done. This is my first big colour tattoo and for some reason I just can’t get the saturation down packed so i would appreciate some advice and criticism for this piece. Thanks for looking!! Also wanted to show my set up. I forgot to take a pic with all the colours in the ink caps. I used a 15cm and a 9cm. This is the third session for this tattoo!

@Karl Hubbard right hahaha, that’s why we did it in multiple sessions and not all in one😂😂🤢

@Steve Kretz thank you!! I will definitely do a smaller piece so I can get it all done in one!! Thanks so much for your advice. I also had a pink in the solid ink I forgot to add it into this picture hahah but those are all the colours I used!
🙂 What's up guys! Just a quick update..
I recorded a safety/set up video! Just having some upload issues, so that's coming very soon! I've had a busy week, ending with a stay in a hotel - 5 mins drive from my house. Its my daughter's 11th birthday, so we always get a hotel, even if its just in the village here. Whistler Village is a tourist destination, so still a fun place to stay. I'm thinking of doing another live call this week. I'd love this to be a regular feature of our group. Thinking Weds 14th 11am - Vancouver timezone (pdt). ☎️ Let me know if you'd be up for joining -

🩶 Opaque Grey Inks - Course Incoming!
I’m going to make a full course on how I use opaque grey inks. It will be based around my bold realistic tattoo style, but it translates well into other styles. As a starting point I thought I’d share my ink set-up! These are Revolution Inks, but I do also use different brands . I do think it’s helpful to use one brand for each tattoo where possible, because grey inks can vary from cool to warm. This is a more advanced version of black & grey requiring much more confidence in every pass. I’m not suggesting everyone to use this style, but if it resonates with you I’m happy to talk more about it. I’ll be covering more styles of tattooing in following courses. Drop any questions in the comments! 👇✨ @Karl Hubbard @Marissa Scott @Candice Perry thought you’d like to see this!

After watching you tattoo I was looking in to getting the opaque greys and trying some things on the fake skins to start. Maybe I’ll do my Medusa on fake skin and use yours as a reference to figure things out!!
