Synthetic Voice Poll
If you opened this post, you might already have a very strong opinion about it. Let's be honest, it is practically every where (and I know I resort to it often). I was going to write a different post all together, when it occurred to me that it sure serves a section of humanity who has lost their voice, and who want to put content out. I wrote an opinion about it - https://thequietai.com/writing/say-whats-synthetic.html Though a poll is far more fun -

I can talk, but cognitive thinking and speaking land in two different planes in my brain. I suppose with enough training and effort I could do both well. Developing content is difficult enough without fighting deficiencies in either arena. My hats off to the GURU's for at least having a strong on camera skill. That said, my new process is both. I can record my process and voice and develop the content by recording as I work. Latest video was a perfect example. As I built, I recorded my thoughts and voice. During compilation, the weaknesses in my presentation and voice drop offs as well as ums and pauses created a real challenge. It required a full re-record and probably end up with cadence issues etc. In the past, I'd vote with David on this. However, Elevenlabs v4 was so good, my brother couldn't tell the difference. Also, it was my voice and words with very few differences. It compressed the video from 25 minutes to roughly 11 minutes. Increased speed, improved emotionality and tone carried the video much better than my original walk through. What suffered was the on screen demonstration and focus I had carefully planned. That can be worked out with skill and attention in future compilations and production. What can't be improved quickly is my capability to record, work and present in an engaging manner. So I guess, yah if you can talk talk, if you can't get as close to it as possible.

Instead of me doing the demo, I will let my other me talks🙂👌

@Danney Tee shared with my Real Estate broker. Getting some good feedback already. Should we unleash the marketing and sales engine yet?

Thank you Jake Van Clief and David McDermott for having me, and David Vogel for the Hermes assist. This one is ICM in practice. I open my own Hermes and walk every layer of its memory, live: the built-in memory files, session history, skills and the curator, the memory provider I host myself, and the ICM workspace that holds the job itself. The part I think this room will care about: in my workspace, every folder carries a small AGENTS.md router that points to a CONTEXT.md contract. Hermes loads AGENTS.md on its own. It doesn't load CONTEXT.md, so the router is what makes sure the contract gets read. Small router, real instructions 1 step away. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtROa4PfvY8 ICM is why this system holds together, and Hermes is what walks it. @Aurel Babiš I don’t know if it can or not. What I do know is that just about anything in Hermes is customizable. It is native python and creating a pruning skill could probably address that issue. Since my hermes agent scans our posts, I’ll ask it to address this request.

@Aurel Babiš Yeah, I'm thinking this sounds more like a full memory audit and review workflow for system maintenance. Worth a roadmap slot.
Are Tea calls still a thing?
Joined VIP to get in a room that no longer seems to exist, but the Skool sales page for Clief Notes still advertises it. I can imagine Jake is getting invited to work with some pretty impressive clientele, and I'm genuinely happy about that. If there is a transition taking place, I would be grateful if you guys would help set our expectations.

WISE ARCHITECTS CORNER - The Fourth Rung Is Open - 🔁 Loop Engineering
I want to take a minute to thank @Jake Van Clief for giving me the opportunity to bring this material to our community. This community is more than just a place to post, it's a place to engage with people, to learn and grow together and I am grateful to Jake and the community for making this skool what it is. If you have been following the releases of my latest classes, the latest rung on the ladder is open! (If you are just getting here, do not worry, the first three rungs are open, and you can find the links below in the "where you are standing" section of this post ☺️) Rung three built what survives the window. Rung four is what runs without you, open from today. Think of the last thing you asked the model to redo. It drafted, you read it, you said "shorter." It drafted again, you read again, you said "warmer." Then "send it." Four rounds, and every one of them waited on you, because the only thing that knew what good looked like was sitting in your head. That is not the model being lazy. That is a loop with a person welded into the middle of it, and the person is you. 📚 What just opened: Loop Engineering, the whole rung at once. The Overview draws the line the rung stands on, single-pass against a closed circuit, and the three classes carry one claim each: (1) The acting is easy, the evaluating is hard (2) A loop that does not know when to stop is not careful, it is lost (3) Some judgment stays with a person, on purpose Then the payoff, the whole series on one card, and my perspective on rung four. By the end you own a loop: your "done when" line rewritten as a check the system runs on its own work, a rule for when it stops, and one clear place where you still sign off. Fewer "agains," and every one that is left is one you chose. 🪜 Where you are standing (Rungs 1, 2 & 3 should be completed) If not, you can find them here. They are in order and should be taken from series 1 to series 2 and so on: PROMPT ENGINEERING 📚 Series 1 Overview
