I ALMOST FIXED THE WRONG PROBLEM 🎥
Have you ever started fixing something in your business, only to realize the thing you were working on wasn’t actually the real problem? That happened to me. The most visible issue felt like the obvious place to start, but I was getting ready to improve the wrong thing. That experience became one of the lessons behind how I now think about Business Navigation: before changing the workflow, offer, strategy, or system, make sure you’re solving the problem that actually matters. This is Episode 2 of The Road to The Guild. 🧭 Have you ever realized the fix you were working on wasn’t the fix you actually needed?

You can be doing genuinely good work and still not be working on what your business needs most right now. Maybe you’re: • rewriting an offer when discovery is the real problem • creating more content when attention isn’t converting • building systems before there’s enough demand • improving something because good advice told you to—even though it isn’t your current bottleneck The work isn’t necessarily wrong. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲. That’s why I created the free 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸. It helps you sort out: 🧭 Current Priority 🧭 Why This Now 🧭 Not Yet 🧭 Next Action Because sometimes the most useful decision isn’t finding another thing to do. It’s knowing which perfectly good things can wait. 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfqe2B8NgIMa60H5HhDKeFCLHUqmemIjdocctunQwRCrNbbhw/viewform?usp=publish-editor 🤍

I launched something for free.
𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐭. And instead of immediately deciding the offer was wrong, I had to figure out something harder: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧? Wrong audience? Wrong messaging? Not enough trust? Poor distribution? A weak offer? Or simply not enough evidence yet? I'm building 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝, a Business Navigation community designed around one question: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐰? I'm documenting the build in real time, the decisions, experiments, misses, adjustments, and what I learn along the way. 🎬 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟏: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧? No polished hindsight version. Just the real build.

@Avinash Khatri Honestly, we’re still pretty far from that. The path itself exists now, but I’m still manually driving most of the discovery and early movement into it. That’s actually what I’m trying to learn from this launch phase—whether people begin moving through the path because the system is working, rather than because I personally pushed them through each step. So right now I’d say we’ve built the path, but we haven’t proven the engine yet. 🤍

@Avinash Khatri I’d definitely be open to hearing what you have in mind. Feel free to send me a DM with a little more about what you’re thinking, and we can go from there. 🤍
New Podcast: What Makes a Community Actually Work?
𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲. This time I sat down with 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 & 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗱 to talk about something I think a lot of people building online are dealing with: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗼 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁? We went through 5 mistakes that can slowly kill an online community and some practical ways to fix them. We also got into their own journey from education and real estate into online courses, coaching and community building. There were some really honest parts of the conversation, especially around 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. If you're building a community, course or online business, you might get a few ideas from this one. 🎙️ 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗕𝗖 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁: YouTube Link If you watch it, let me know 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁.

@Avinash Khatri I think that “fewer decisions for members” point is probably going to stick with me too. I’ve been thinking a lot about how to reduce the amount of figuring-it-out members have to do once they’re inside, so I’m really curious to hear the other four mistakes. I’ll watch the full episode and come back to you with which one hits closest to what we’re seeing. 👀🤍

@Donna Thornton Yes — that distinction really clicked for me too. The work behind the scenes can be complex, but the member shouldn’t have to carry that complexity. I’ve been simplifying The Guild around exactly that idea: fewer decisions, clearer next steps, and a much more obvious path forward. I’m definitely curious to see how the rest of the video reinforces that. I will definitely come back to this post after watching it.🤍

If you keep changing your offer, platform, strategy, or direction every time progress feels slow, you may be resetting the very momentum you’re trying to build. Inside 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝, we help active builders figure out: - what matters now - what should wait - what next step actually deserves attention - when there’s enough evidence to stay the course or change direction If you’re tired of second-guessing every business move, The Guild is built for that. 🧭 👉 https://www.skool.com/singlemomera-2063/about?ref=276c8139216347e480aff96e0c15a5fa 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰.
