Yeah good idea. For next week I can change it to 1pm ET on Wednesday I will run the week after at 11am ET, etc... I'll keep moving the times around slightly like this to accommodate more people

Kimi K3 (YT video early preview)
Last night I built a cyberpunk coding game with Kimi K3 (prompt below) (sponsored video coming to my YouTube channel next week. this post is not sponsored) Here's what you should know about K3: - 2.8T parameter open weights model (largest ever) - 1 million token context window - Openly published architecture (kimi delta attention, attention residuals, etc..) The game ended up being pretty fun, so I wanted to share it. You can skip to the second half of the video to see me demo it. I used kimi code for this. Very capable agent harness and fun to use. I basically one-shotted the game. The secret was to include "Godot 4" in the prompt. That's the game engine I used. I've attached the full prompt if you want to check it out!

@Bertrand B it would be cool to see you on the call. I run a demo with no little interaction for the first 30 minutes, then stick around after for questions. There won’t be many people on the call- if any. But feel free to join at the start or later on

I really appreciate you pushing through this gnarly topic to share the final tidbit about the MCP OAuth flow 😜 It was super educational—thanks! As you mentioned in the video, there are other providers besides Descope. Have you tried any of them? I’m especially curious about Auth0 and Okta, since they seem to be well established in the enterprise world. I’ve also noticed that you use GCP quite a bit across your videos. I’m not usually a big fan of big tech and generally prefer sticking with open-source tools, but I’m starting to understand that enterprise companies rely on these platforms and standards. If I want to work with them—as a freelancer or employee—I may need to embrace them to some extent. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks, man!

Thanks for mentioning that part of the video. I remember it was difficult to film because I was at the end of a long demo by that point! With respect to the open sources, authentication tools you mentioned I think they will be lacking when compared to Descope. Here’s an open source tool that might be interesting to you: https://github.com/zitadel/zitadel As for Google cloud, I find that it has a really good developer experience and I use it all the time in my work for cloud storage to cheaply backup data that doesn’t belong on git. I also like Google firebase because it handles users and authentication and the database is really good for applications. I don’t currently use any of the other Google products in my work right now, but certainly working at an organization, you’ll be using cloud services and not relying on open source technology as much, because they’re cheap and dependable and they have good privacy guarantees.

Hello, I've already installed the Baseline theme, but I'd love to have the same opacity or transparency effect as Obsidian that I see in the videos; it's fantastic. Could you tell me if there are any steps I need to take to achieve it?

I have never thought about this. But I just read your LinkedIn post since I haven’t thought deeply about this, any specific advice I would have is not going to worth much. But I do think that you should try to make it as simple as you can. The more complexity, the more difficult it is to reason about why things happened (or didnt) in the system For example, you could imagine an agent that sits above all the others, monitoring the state of everything. And this agent can vote on auth decisions. but this sounds rather complicated
