Lesson Check-In: GHL Vs The Ownership Model
I walked through the pros and cons of using GHL vs what I chose to do: Own mine outright. If you are going to use GHL, I give the best way to get started fast. If you have questions about owning your stack, or GHL "hacks" just ask them below.

@Ruben Aguirre Why not a free repo off GitHub? 5 traps I checked before I spent a dime. This steered me to buying the code base as well 1. The license. A lot of "open source" CRMs won't let you white label it or put paying clients in it. The day you resell a seat you're in breach. Read the license file before the readme. 2. Who maintains it. A repo with 2 people behind it can stop tomorrow. Then you own every bug forever. 3. The CRM is the easy part. The wiring is the work. Texting, email sending, payments, the carrier registration you need before you can text anybody, unsubscribe handling. A free repo hands you none of that wired. Mine came wired. 4. Updates. You have to be able to pull their new version without losing your changes. If there's no written path for that, you're frozen on day 1. 5. Free code isn't free to run. You still pay for the database and the server. Know that number before you pick. I haven't run that repo, so I can't grade it. Run it through those 5 and you'll know in 20 minutes. Attio is renting again. Nice rental. Still a rental. That's the thing I'm getting away from!

@Ruben Aguirre also, you can check the code base dev- everyone who gets it through me I give them the playbook (Allodra.ai powers everything you see plus what you don't) A couple of members in here use it and my playbook :) He is in this group as well @Ben G and he has his group where he updates and supports it Ambitious Ai

No man left behind
I am sending an e-mail out to subscribers of filesnfolders.com that: 1) finished at least the first 4 e-mails in the sequence after they have opted in for the free, half-way done, ICM build 2) Haven't already took me up on my dime-sale offer. The e-mail contains a playbook + an ability to read the previous days e-mail and since some of you in here don't fall into the 303 people that get that opportunity to read the playbook... I made it so you get can: Here's the e-mail(s) + playbook for the ones who care Always got your back, RyMac P.S. Try not to be over-whelmed by the fancy google doc.

@Harsimran Singh haha one minute, I am mobile , let me get a PayPal thing set up when I am back in the saddle! It'll just be for what it's at when you tired. Also will look at stripe and see what it says ...

@Harsimran Singh haha, I needed to get the paypal finalized to my LLC anyways :) - stripe is sooo much easier in the start and I got the no fees on the first $20,000 in processing from Stripe deal 💪 But for some of the consulting and stuff I do, paypal has been a question, and now yours has finalized it, finish the paypal lolol

@Darren Soares your almost done , and in the advanced classroom there are only 2 things but that classroom you're in gets you there. The advanced stuff is once you're actually comfortable and closing. The object handling coming up is unique to me , you only 3 ways to handle any and all objections :)
