Apparently, today's emojis are going to be way more random than usual 😂🫣😏 Let's jump right in... We all know Substack is a place to get people to subscribe - but subscriber fatigue is real especially in this day and age of crazy rising prices for everything. And I'm not here to gaslight you about what you are personally experiencing or tell you just image a different reality. I maybe woo - but I'm not crazy.🤪 So, the question then becomes how can we leverage Substack to create an income beyond asking people to pay us every month? The best thing to do before everything else is of course - setup your foundations... That means, oh yeah - know who you're helping and what, specifically, you want to help them with. You have to know where they are experiencing a problem in their life that you can solve. And not just that, but that problem MUST be painful enough that they need to solve, that the problem will cause them to pay you for that solution. The more pain or urgency, the quicker you can get them relief, the least amount of friction between the exchange of money and results - the more you can charge. The good news is - I've created the 9 Day Substack Momentum Challenge for you - #Welcome to the 9-Day Substack Momentum Challenge! It is open to everyone in the community. It will take you through all the parts from idea to publication on Substack so you can start building momentum. Once you have that sorted out everything else is MUCH easier to put together - To build a Substack publication you need to know what the client journey is you are taking your readers on. And no, this doesn't have to end in an exchange of money for problem solving - if you're writing to share information great it's totally fine to have a hobby - but if you are writing/creating content to lead to sales you must have a cohesive client journey. And of course, for the love of all that is holy (like cows 🐮) turn on your payment option - let people give you money if they want to. By all means get your Substack setup properly but if people want to send you money you should always let them.
