He came across my feed and I was impressed by what he's doing (I didn't search him out).
I'm sure he has his doubt about his strategy, style, etc, but he's doing it!
I can promise that if he keeps this up, he'll grow quickly, just like you can.
My best students actually take very little direction from me, they saw the opportunity and just went for it. Several of my students have well over 100K follows across multiple channels. But those student didn't really need much from me, and all started from ground ZERO, no experience, all the same doubts you have.
Conversely, the students that typically seek the most help, the most advice, the constant encouragement, do the least amount of real work.
