I'm Alex, born and raised in New York City. Ex-Amazon, ex-The New York Times full-stack engineer. I taught 500+ engineers at The New York Times to get more out of Claude. Before code I sold for Apple and worked in high-end NYC real estate, so I know what it's like to use this stuff without an engineering background.
I make YouTube videos about treating life problems like engineering problems: break it down, build the smallest thing that works, measure, fix what breaks, and let AI do the typing. Every artifact from those videos lands in this community.

I also show the parts that break. Most people film the demo that worked on the third try, which is usually the least useful version. Building in public matters to me.
