Morning Routine
I’m realizing more and more how important it is to intentionally create time to connect with yourself.
And here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to look perfect.
Maybe it’s first thing in the morning. Maybe it’s in the middle of your day. Maybe the only quiet you get is at night after everyone else is settled.
What matters is that you make space for you.
For me, I’m starting with:
✨ Brain dump
✨ Meditation
✨ Journaling
Would I love to roll out of bed and immediately begin my morning this way? Sure.
But that’s not what this season of life looks like.
I’m going to get my children ready, get them on the bus, and then I’m going to take this time for myself—before I open my laptop and begin my workday.
Because I’d rather do it imperfectly than keep waiting for the “perfect” morning routine. I can see getting up any earlier than I already am.
It’s not about doing it at the ideal time.
It’s about creating a moment in your day where you can quiet the outside noise, hear yourself again, and reconnect with what you need, what you’re feeling, and where you want to go.
So… who’s with me? 🙋‍♀️
When do you make time to connect with yourself—morning, midday, or evening?
And what does that connection look like for you? 💕
