This week, we are reflecting on the educator you still remember.
Most of us do not only remember what we were taught.
We remember how someone made us feel while we were learning.
The teacher who believed in us.
The adult who noticed us.
The coach who challenged us without shaming us.
The mentor who helped us see possibility.
The educator who made the room feel a little safer.
The one who helped us try again.
That is heartbeat work.
And as The Heartbeat Educator gets closer to launching, I keep thinking about how many educators may never know which moment stayed with a student.
One sentence.
One repair.
One moment of patience.
One private correction.
One warm greeting.
One reminder that a mistake did not define them.
Those moments matter.
