Today I was looking to wear any forgotten oldie and goodie in my collection. I don’t even remember if I wore this one ever. It has different notes versions online. But I was able to find them on an Arabic Lataffa website (Lattafa Oudain), and they match some sources like Parfumo, that makes me more sense to what I’m smelling. Website Notes:
Top Notes: Orange and Saffron
Middle Notes: Caramel and Dry Amber
Base Notes: Tonka and Vanilla
It opens with some sweet freshness, and a leathery nuance, a blend that gives a very subtle Middle Eastern “oud” feel without any funkiness. Then transitions to a sweeter and resinous facet, while the dry down feels spicier, sweet, and woodsy. It’s very enjoyable, fragrance, smooth, refined, exotic, elegant and mature, cooler weather appropriate any occasion, with great projection and longevity.
