Testing out - Creed Iris Debonair
Today I’m wearing Iris Debonair from Creed, one of their newest releases.
This sample was sent to me by my sales associate as soon as it came out, but it took ,me a bit to get a chance to give it a proper wear.
I always enjoy trying something new from a house I already know well because there is a certain expectation that comes with it.
You wonder whether it is going to feel immediately familiar. Whether it is going to surprise you.
Or whether it will carve out its own little place in the collection.
So far, Iris Debonair feels very polished.
There is a fresh, aromatic quality up front, but what I’m enjoying more is the softer, smoother character underneath it. It feels refined, clean and very easy to wear.
The iris gives it a slightly velvety quality without becoming overly powdery, and the lavender keeps the whole thing feeling crisp and put together.
Not loud. Not flashy. Just very composed.
A new release, a first proper wear, and so far a very strong first impression. 😎
