Today I’m continuing my exploration of Xerjoff with Torino21. And right from the start, this one has a very different personality from some of the fragrances I’ve been testing lately. It definitely has presence. The opening feels bright, green and almost electric to me. There is a freshness that wakes me up immediately, but dries down into a nice powder with a touch of woodiness This one wants you to know it is there. 😎. Or I could've just over sprayed I Tiny bit! 😜 I’m getting a really nice scent bubble around me this morning, with enough projection that I don’t have to keep checking whether I can still smell it. It isn’t obnoxious, but it is definitely more of an attention getter. I may or may not have moved a little closer to French Whore Territory today. 😜 But my book keeper is on vacation and no one else will be hones with me! 🙏 And after some recent samples where I was wondering where the fragrance went, I have to admit it is pretty nice to wear something that actually sticks its hand up and says: “Yep. I’m still here.” 😂 So far, this is a very good first impression.

The fragrance opens with a beautifully lactonic, creamy accord, accompanied by a soft undercurrent of sweetness. The introduction feels smooth and comforting, immediately suggesting the gourmand richness that will develop as it settles. At around 15 minutes, the creamy character remains prominent as caramel begins to emerge, adding a warm, indulgent sweetness. By 30 minutes, the gourmand personality becomes more pronounced, with caramel, vanilla, and tonka blending into the lactonic foundation to create a rich, almost dessert-like accord. At around 60 minutes, the fragrance reaches its sweetest and most decadent stage. Caramel, vanilla, cream, and tonka take center stage, while soft sandalwood provides a smooth woody foundation that gives the composition structure beneath all that sweetness. The dry down settles into a lush combination of creamy lactonic notes and vanilla, with lingering caramel and tonka adding warmth and depth. The result is unapologetically gourmand—sweet, creamy, comforting, and beautifully indulgent. Overall, this is a rich gourmand built around cream, caramel, vanilla, tonka, and soft sandalwood. Its lactonic character gives the sweetness a velvety texture, creating a fragrance that feels warm, decadent, and effortlessly comforting. Performance: Projection is good, creating approximately a three-foot scent bubble for over two hours. Sillage is equally solid, leaving a 3+ foot scent trail for nearly three hours. Longevity is impressive at approximately 8–9 hours, becoming a skin scent at around the four-hour mark. My Rating: 7.5/10
