Hi everybody, @Antonio Cent wrote me in chat that to develop faster I had to start posting something, starting with my scent of the day. I’m actually not good enough in recognizing all the different ingredients, so I’ll start with some interesting info’s found on the web and then add my personal experience. And my first SOTD couldn’t be anything else than Giorgio Armani – Acqua di Giò Parfum. It’s the fragrance which I choose in most of my day’s in this period, just love it too much to leave it on the shelf. Acqua di Giò Parfum by Giorgio Armani is a woody aquatic fragrance for men, launched in 2023 and created to carry on the legacy of Profumo. The main difference between Acqua di Giò Parfum and the legendary (and now discontinued) Acqua di Giò Profumo lies in the balance of their olfactory notes: the Parfum is fresher, more citrusy, and more modern, whereas the Profumo was denser, darker, and dominated by a strong note of incense. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas, I think one of the greatest perfume creators (e.g. CK One, Flowers by Kenzo…). Top notes are Marine Notes and Bergamot; Middle notes are Rosemary, Clary Sage, and Geranium; Base notes are Olibanum and Patchouli. My experience: Some years ago, I was looking for something new for my skin, and starting from the Abercrombie & Fitch Away that I just finished I looked on the web for main accords that included aromatic, fresh spices, citrus and woody smells, after several You Tube reviews and articles the response was clear. How was it possible that I’ve never tried Acqua di Giò Parfum ???!!! Almost feeling guilty I blind bought quickly the best occasion. Blind Buys are probably considered stupid, but now and again they leave me a sort of excitement coming from the risk of throwing away your money. Well, my money was never, never spent better that in this case. Already the first two or three sprays, just receiving the top notes, really drove me crazy !! I started jumping around in the room (luckily I was alone at home), repeating “Oh my god it’s toooooooo good !!!” Real happiness. And the feeling is the same after years, it’s just my personal Top Fragrance, if a fragrance manages to give you such emotions, I think it has reached its maximum objective !!

I don’t know if many of you realize that Edward has been inactive for some time. I was able to get in touch with him and it seems that he has had a few medical procedures which I am not at liberty to discuss here.
