Personal Inner Practice
There essentially two legs to the inner practice of Budo.
0) There is bullshit.
1) Cessation of being directed by and reacting to the Bullshit. This is what is commonly called meditation.
2) The transmutation of the Bullshit into something useful and enjoyable.
This is what is commonly known as wonder working.
There are countless systems and appraoches to these under a variety of names.
Controlling the mind and one's habits are essential for both paths. While a monk or an industrialist may each choose different paths, the Budoka is called to consider that each is appropriate in its time. Integration is the goal.
