The systems, procedures, and routines that shape your classroom
The philosophies that shape your day to day decision.

You can’t have one without the other, and both deserve their own attention.

If you adopt the systems of teachers with strong classroom management without understanding the philosophies behind them, you may not execute those systems the same way.

Then, when they don’t work, you assume the strategies aren’t effective.

Teaching is an art. Classroom management paints the picture, and you are the painter. 🎨

I spent nine years in the classroom, never received below distinguished in classroom management, and never had to raise my voice to keep control. 👩🏽‍🏫

My hope is to help other educators do the same by sharing the simple techniques and approaches I used in my own classroom.

I believe strong systems work best when they are supported by strong rapport. 🤝
