Super fun find.
I always google Bead store near me when I travel. I go up to Stanton Virginia a few times a year because Virginia prosecutors often have training at the Hotel
24 there. This time a new store popped up when I googled.
I was stoked until I called.
She had been out of business for almost 12 years and tried to get Google to take down her old business.
Then she asked me what I was looking for. I told nothing in particular, I just liked to look at local bead stores when I travelled.
She then offered to let me come out where she had her old inventory stored to pick some stuff out to purchase.
She just happened to be in that part of Virginia this past weekend.
I scored a ton of amazing stuff: West Germany beads, goldstone, Japanese milliefleur, mother of pearl, and vintage Swarovski crystals.
Funny how a phone call can net you some awesome stuff.
The last two are my pieces created from the 4th picture lot of West Germany beads and goldstone.
