Critique please
So, tattoo on Mum yesterday (ghost) and swallow on myself today.
I really struggled with the ghost (only second time on another person). The ink kept leaking, wasn't saturating into the skin properly and I felt so nervous. I felt out of my depth and knew I had to immediately go back to fake skin and do linework again, again and again to get the need depth, voltage and hang correct. I was doing linework at 8v on fake skin, but yesterday and today, reduced it to 6v and the linework was so much more consistent. Is this normal?
Tattoo today felt better. Shading left to do. I'll do more sessions on fake skin before tattooing on really skin again.
