Skool gets a cut (Growth Boost)
A friendly reminder.
Unless you turn off Growth Boost, Skool will take at least 30% from what your members are paying if the members join your community:
  1. Through your profile page
  2. By searching and finding you through the Discovery page
This will happen whether Skool sends people your way (with ads) or not.
The downside of turning Growth Boost off is you will disappear from the Discovery page.
The upside of having Growth Boost on, is Skool will use the 30%+ (or at least some of it) to promote your community using Facebook ads (and maybe other type of ads). But your community needs to be paid and "ready" for that to happen.
⚠️ The most important thing that some people miss: If someone joins your free/paid community through your profile or the Discovery page, and then buy a high/low ticket offer from within your community, Skool also gets the 30% (or more) from that. They are basically your affiliate.
I still see people confused about this and that's why I decide to post this. Comment below if you have any questions etc.
