“As soon as I realize something has been written with AI, I stop reading.”
An entrepreneur friend said this to me recently.
Another friend, a former Bloomberg colleague, put it more bluntly: “If they haven’t bothered to write it, why should I bother to read it?”
That may be unfair to someone who has supplied the ideas and used AI only to help express them.
Still, it raises a question for those of us who care about writing.
How do we make sure our own thinking and personality survive the AI polish?
I explore this topic in my latest article, which includes a simple “Only You” Test you can apply to your own work, with or without AI.
Warmly,
