Baseball and Business

I decided since I was sluggish getting my day going to take it easy and add small wins. I also decided to watch my Arizona Diamondbacks play my wife's San Fransico Giants and we are sitting currently just 1 out from the win, with a 3 point lead in the 9th inning. The score is 7-4, not the best defensively, or our highest scoring game of the season either, in fact one of our stars even has a major hit streak broken tonight and ouch, the Giants just hit a solo homerun off our closer.

Still we are a strike away from the win, and we had a range of small ball to a couple of big blast. The guys just keep plugging and we keep winning. FINAL SCORE 7-5 We are now 6 games over 500 despite not having the biggest payroll, the biggest names, the aura of Hollywood etc...

In business this is what you hope for, to string more small wins than small losses and just keep pluging away and success happens. May your day be a win, be it your team unless they are the Dodgers or Padres but most certainly your business.
