Hal will examine the history and evolution of harm reduction, its expansion beyond substance use, and contingency management as a direct application of operant conditioning within ABA.The session will close with a practical case example demonstrating how BCBAs can incorporate harm reduction principles into service coordination while remaining within scope and applying appropriate ethical and clinical safeguards.
