Welcome to Our New School Platform!
Hello everyone,
Welcome to our new school platform! I am honored and excited to have each of you here with me.
Some of you are new to the tax industry, while others are seasoned tax professionals. No matter your level of experience, we are happy to have you as part of the Fresh Start Pro / Tax Nation Partnership.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ
Everyone should take the time to review the Policies and About sections located within the school platform. These sections contain important information about the platform, expectations, training, and participation.
LEADERSHIP BOARD & ENGAGEMENT
You will notice that our platform includes a Leadership Board. Leadership rankings are based on engagement and participation within the school community.
You can increase your engagement by:
Participating regularly on the platform
Posting business and tax-related content
Engaging positively with other members' posts
Participating during your Academy training
Encouraging and supporting fellow team members
We will occasionally recognize and give awards to members on the Leadership Board based on participation and engagement.
Remember, the Leadership Board is designed to be fun, motivational, and educational.
PLATFORM RULES & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Please help us maintain a positive and professional environment.
DO:
Post daily when possible.
Post positive and encouraging content.
Ask tax-related and business-related questions.
Participate in discussions and Academy activities.
Treat yourself, fellow team members, and administrators with respect.
PLEASE DO NOT:
Post disrespectful, inappropriate, or offensive content.
Post personal financial questions.
Post personal matters involving your home, family, relationships, or private life.
Post unrelated content without receiving Admin approval first.
Share information from this platform on social media without Admin approval.
Share access to this platform or any information, training materials, posts, or content from this platform with anyone who is not an authorized member.
This platform is for tax-related business, education, training, professional development, and positive team engagement.
TRAINING BEGINS THE SECOND WEEK OF OCTOBER
We will begin Zoom and in-office training during the second week of October.
A training calendar with available dates will be posted inside the school platform.
New Tax Preparers:
You will receive both in-office and Zoom training opportunities to help you prepare for the upcoming tax season.
Seasoned Tax Preparers:
A separate link or scheduled session will be provided for Q&A and updates so you can ask questions and receive information relevant to the upcoming tax season.
