This is a reminder not to combine fruit with fats or any other foods.
Fruits should always be eaten alone as they digest super fast. When you combine fruit with other food (especially fats), it will drastically slow down their transit time, leading to gas, bloating, digestive upset and fermentation.
The easiest way to avoid this, is to make sure you have fruit before anything else and leave a gap of 30 minutes before eating your next meal.
It's okay to still have fruit salads and mix fruits together, but if you want the smoothest digestion possible, eat your fruit as a mono meal (1 fruit at a time like a big bowl of watermelon, a whole pineapple, a plate of mangos etc).
If you're eating melons of any kind, always eat them as a mono meal as melon already comes pre-digested! Definitely DO NOT eat melon after a big meal. You will end up with a stomach ache and feel sick.
