very ironic how the previeous question told me not to pick the longest answer. Look how that turned out XD
20/20 100%
Review was so easy I could call it a warm up 😭✌️ Horrible, horrible question, way to stupidly easy and non-essential. I'll just move on.
Technique 3 - System of Equations
No video notes bc that might've been the easiest video of my life. I can retain all this in my head, nothing comptecated just yet.
  1. Solve for x and y:
2x + y = 7
x – y = 1
(2.67,1.67)✔️ (now, I had to move around the 2nd equation. Later on question like these will have more steps to it, leading to me being unable to solve it. So I should learn another/faster way to solve this without having to resetup the equation.)
  1. Solve for x and y:
y = x^2 – 4
y = 2x + 1
(-1.45, -1.9)✔️ & (3.4,7.9)✔️
  1. Solve for x and y:
x^2 + y^2 = 25
y = x + 1
(-4, -3)✔️ & (3, 4)✔️
  1. Solve for x and y:
y = 2^x
y = x + 4
(-3.9, 0.065)✔️ & (2.7, 6.7)✔️
  1. Solve for x and y:
y = 2x + 1
y = 2x + 5
Same slope, no solutions. ✔️

Step 3 - Command of Evidence
Wow. at the start of the video he recomnded watching his paggage reading video before this. because Im a great student, I shall. Time to go on a side quest 🥲
Damn. I can't find that video with the enchanted book on it. oh all. Ill just continue watching step-3.
Never mind, I found it, it was just on his other chanel. 1 hour 😅 phew. Its okay, I'll go through every second.
Great video. The begining was really repative beccause it was something I already knew. He uses the same explanitions alot. But atleast I have it in my head more. I struggled a bit in the peom section.
ok, now lets move onto Command of Evidence.

Question 1:
In a short story, Jonas is leading an effort to restore a ferry once operated by his grandmother. A literary critic claims that Jonas publicly presents the restoration as an economic venture but privately gives greater priority to preserving his family’s history.
Which quotation from the story would most effectively support the critic’s claim?
C) “Jonas’s grandmother had piloted the ferry for three decades, and her brass compass had remained carefully wrapped in a storage box since her retirement.” ✖️
ANSWER: A) “At the council meeting, Jonas projected ticket revenue for the restored ferry; later, instead of revising the budget as promised, he spent hours installing his grandmother’s brass compass in the cabin.”
-> I was gonna pick a but I second guessed myself :P
Question 2:
To investigate how sunlight affects plant growth, a horticulture student grew identical seedlings under different amounts of sunlight per day. After three weeks, the student recorded the average height (in centimeters) of the seedlings at each sunlight level. The graph shows the results.
Based on the graph, the student claims that increasing sunlight from 2 hours per day to 6 hours per day increased the average seedling height by about 5 centimeters.
Which choice most effectively uses data from the graph to justify the underlined claim?
A) The average height was about 7 cm at 2 hours and about 12 cm at 6 hours, an increase of about 5 cm. ✔️
Question 3:
A café chain tested whether a redesigned menu board would change what customers order. For four weeks, the café used its standard menu board; then it installed a new design that placed pastries at the top and used larger photos.
The café tracked the percentage of orders that included a pastry and the percentage of orders that included coffee each week for eight weeks total.
Managers concluded that introducing the redesigned menu board increased pastry ordering but did not meaningfully change coffee ordering.
Which choice best describes data in the graph that support the managers’ conclusion?
A) From weeks 1–4 to weeks 5–8, the percentage of orders with a pastry increases from about 18–20% to about 34–37%, while the percentage of orders with coffee stays about 62–64% in both periods. ✔️
Question 4:
Using stable isotope analysis of preserved barley grains from Archaic-period settlements along the lower Indus River, archaeobotanist Leena Patel and colleagues found unexpectedly low 13C/12C ratios—values that typically indicate crops experienced little water stress. Because paleoclimate data show limited rainfall in the region around 4000 BCE, Patel’s team argues that local farmers must have practiced organized flood irrigation centuries earlier than previously documented.
Which finding, if true, would most directly support Patel’s conclusion?
D) A complex network of earthen canals dating to about 4000 BCE is discovered adjacent to the settlements where the barley grains were collected. ✔️
Question 5:
Birdsong “dialects”—local variations in a species’ song—are sometimes explained as the product of genetic differences between populations. Biologists Nira Okoye and Marcus Feldman tested that idea in a study of a songbird living in two adjacent river valleys separated by a low ridgeline. The valleys’ vegetation and ambient noise were similar, and genetic sampling indicated frequent interbreeding across the ridgeline. Yet the researchers found a sharp boundary between two distinct song dialects: males recorded on one side almost never sang the other side’s dialect. Okoye and Feldman did not conclude that biology plays no role in song production, but they argued that in this case the persistence of the boundary was best explained by young birds learning songs locally and then conforming to the dialect most common where they settle.
Which finding, if true, would most directly support Okoye and Feldman’s argument?
D) Juvenile males captured in one valley and moved to the other before they began practicing songs later sang the moved-to valley’s dialect, not the dialect typical of their valley of birth. ✔️

Wait, Im gonna stop myself here. Is reviewing over the classroom even worth it?? My Sat is on the 26th. 26-15=11 days left. out of the 11 days, 5 of them I have no school. so that's like guaranteed 4 hours to myself to study. For school days, maybe 2 hours for that. 5*4= 20. 6*2=12. 20+12=34 hours. (If I'm not able to find time after school, I'll just have my guaranteed 20 hours.)

The Reading Passage Course Day 5.
1. Beatrice arranged the manuscript pages on the kitchen table for the seventh time that morning, aligning their edges with the deliberate precision of someone who knew the work was finished but could not yet bear to call it so. Her sister would arrive at noon. The pages would stay on the table or be tucked back into the drawer beneath the window — Beatrice had not yet decided which.
Which choice best describes Beatrice's state of mind?
C) She believes the manuscript is complete but feels reluctant to commit to sharing it. ✔️
2. The following is an original poem, "The Gardener at Eighty."
I planted these in nineteen sixty-three —
The maple by the gate, the pear, the plum —
Believing then that I would live to see
Each tree mature, and watch their seasons come.
The maple towers now; the pear has died;
The plum is gnarled but blooms with stubborn flame.
What I had thought was patience was, beside
The trees' slow work, impatience all the same.
Which choice best states the main theme of the poem?
B) The speaker has come to see his earlier sense of patience as inadequate compared to the trees' slow growth. ✔️
3. Henrik had been the village blacksmith for thirty-one years, and in that time he had developed a reputation for refusing work he considered beneath him. He would not shoe horses for travelers passing through. He would not mend cookware. When the mayor's nephew came to him with a broken belt buckle, Henrik examined it for a long moment, then set it on the counter and went back to his forge without a word. Yet for the children of the village, he would forge whatever scrap of nonsense they imagined — tin swords, hinged dragons, miniature crowns — and accept no payment beyond their laughter.
What is the function of the final sentence in the text as a whole?
B) It complicates the portrait of Henrik established earlier in the text. ✔️
4. The following text is adapted from an 1898 short story by Eleanor Faye Mortimer.
Cousin Albert had come for dinner again, and again he had brought his theories. Tonight it was the question of whether civilization had improved the moral character of mankind; last week it had been the migratory patterns of certain river fish. Marguerite poured the soup and made the appropriate sounds at the appropriate intervals. She had long since learned that Albert required no audience — only the appearance of one — and that her own thoughts, if she kept them quiet enough, could be conducted entirely in parallel with his speech, like a second river running beside the first.
Which choice best describes Marguerite's attitude toward Albert?
A) She admires the breadth of his intellectual interests and looks forward to his visits. ✖️
ANSWER: C) She has accommodated his behavior in a way that requires little real engagement from her.
Prediction: "Appropriate sounds at the appropriate intervals," "Albert required no audience — only the appearance of one," and the parallel-river image all point to the same thing: she's developed a method for being present without participating. Not admiration, not offense — accommodation.
5. The following is an original poem, "After the Concert."
The applause has thinned. The hall is half-emptied,
The cellist gathering her music with the slow
Particular care of someone who has nothing
She is hurrying toward. I watch her go,
Her case slung crosswise, footsteps unhurried,
Past the conductor making his small jokes,
Past the program seller, past the heavy doors —
And realize, only then, that I had stayed
Not for the music, which had ended an hour past,
But to see what the musician did when no one
Was supposed to be watching anymore.
Which choice best describes the speaker's realization in the final lines?
A) The speaker recognizes that she had stayed in order to observe an unguarded moment of the cellist's life. ✔️
