Happy Sunday everyone!
I had a sudden childhood memory pop up this morning.
I loved reading as a kid; the wondrous playful and imaginative atmosphere I could create and get lost.
I got excited one day when the “Logos” boat docked at Port of Spain, Trinidad and invited us to explore and buy books at a discounted price.
I remember reading one line that said, “If all the world were apple pie and all the seas were ink. If all the trees were bread and cheese then what would we have to drink.”
I believe this rhyme was first published in “Harry’s Ladder” in 1850.
What favorite childhood memory do you have?
