Community Rules & Guidelines
  1. Respect Privacy & Confidentiality
What is shared in GRACE should stay in GRACE. Do not screenshot, record, repost, or share another member’s story or personal information without permission. Remember that complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in any online community.
2 Lead With Grace, Not Judgment
We are all at different places in recovery and in our walks with Christ. No bullying, shaming, condemning, name-calling, or personal attacks. Speak truth with love.
3. Be Honest About Recovery—Without Glorifying Addiction
Members are welcome to talk openly about cravings, struggles, relapse, and their past. However, do not glorify substance use, encourage another person to use, or share unnecessarily graphic details that could put another member’s recovery at risk.
4. Share Experience—Don’t Diagnose
Share what you’ve experienced, what has helped you, Scripture, encouragement, and prayer. Do not diagnose another member medically, psychologically, or spiritually, or present your interpretation of someone’s situation as fact.
5. Respect Personal & Spiritual Boundaries
Prayer and biblical encouragement are welcome. Do not pressure another member into a spiritual practice, private conversation, relationship, treatment decision, or anything else they’ve expressed discomfort with.
6. No Unsolicited Promotion or Solicitation
Do not use GRACE to sell products or services, recruit clients, request money, promote another community, or repeatedly message members privately for promotional purposes without permission.
7. Protect the Recovery Environment
Do not provide instructions for obtaining or misusing substances, encourage dangerous behavior, or discourage someone from seeking appropriate medical, mental-health, addiction-treatment, or emergency care.
8. Keep GRACE Christ-Centered
GRACE stands for Gratitude for Recovery from Addiction by Christ Encounters. Our community is centered on Jesus Christ while providing space for women at different stages of their faith and recovery journeys.
9. Support—Don’t Try to Fix
Listen, encourage, pray, and share your own experience. Sometimes the most helpful response is simply, “I’m here. You’re not alone.” Give other women room to make their own decisions and seek appropriate support.
10. Help Us Protect GRACE
If you see concerning behavior, harassment, exploitation, or content that violates these guidelines, contact an admin rather than starting a public confrontation. Serious or repeated violations may result in content removal or removal from the community.
