“Have you ever been late to your own opportunity—but decided to show up anyway?”
- Showing up late is better than not showing up at all.
- One person in the room can still be your biggest opportunity.
- Your presentation shouldn’t depend on how many people are watching.
- Consistency builds confidence.
- You never know who is paying attention—or who that one person knows.
You could end with a question that gets people talking:
“If you walked into a room late and there was only ONE person there, would you still give them the best presentation of your life? Why or why not?”
That gives you a natural conversation instead of sounding like you’re just giving advice.
