Why start a mentorship community at 54?
Growing up with a single mother, statistics dictated I was headed in the wrong direction until dedicated youth leaders and coaches stepped in to change my trajectory. After 20 years of coaching and youth ministry, I realized my true calling isn't just leadership—it is mentorship.
The transition to adulthood is daunting, and navigating it without guidance is even harder. We only have a few short years to make a difference before middle and high schoolers face the real world. This community exists to bridge that gap and pay that investment forward.
Equip Mentors: Teach everyday people how to step up, share their wisdom, and guide the generation behind them.
Build Good Humans: Share resources focused on character, empathy, and loving others well.
Change Trajectories: Provide the consistent, positive influence needed to help young people defy negative statistics.
Leave a Legacy: Focus on showing up for others exactly the way our mentors showed up for us.
