APPLICATION GUIDE:

• Apply to clean, completely dry skin

• For peptide powders, use a plain hyaluronic acid (HA) serum or compatible water-based serum as your base unless otherwise specified

• After mixing peptide powders with a facial or scalp serum, allow the serum to sit overnight before use to allow the peptide powders to dissolve completely

• Before each use, mix gently by rolling the bottle between your hands or swirling the bottle for 30 seconds

• Avoid direct mixing or immediate layering with strong Vitamin C formulas or low-pH actives

• If using potentially irritating actives in the same routine, separate application times when possible

• Introduce new products gradually to assess skin tolerance

• Always use sunscreen during the day, especially when using Retinol

AVOID DIRECT MIXING WITH:

• Low-pH exfoliating acids

• Benzoyl peroxide

• Strong oxidizing ingredients

LAYERING RULES

GENERALLY COMPATIBLE WITH:

Refrigerate freshly mixed peptide formulas when appropriate for the ingredient and formulation.

Prepare smaller batches when possible rather than assuming every reconstituted topical peptide will remain optimally stable for the same length of time.

GENERAL PEPTIDE POWDER MIXING DIRECTIONS:

Add ½ gram to 1 gram peptide powder to:

• One 30 mL bottle plain hyaluronic acid serum

• Your preferred compatible water-based serum

Mix thoroughly until evenly dispersed or fully dissolved.

After mixing, allow the serum to sit overnight before using it so the peptide powder has time to dissolve completely. Before each use, mix gently by rolling the bottle between your hands or swirling the bottle for 30 seconds.

Apply:

• 1–2 pumps

• Morning and/or evening depending on product

• Follow with moisturizer as needed

RU-58841- SCALP ONLY

Experimental Topical Hair Research Compound

RU-58841 is not a cosmetic peptide and should NOT be mixed according to the facial peptide protocol above.

RU-58841 is an investigational nonsteroidal antiandrogen that has been studied for topical activity at androgen receptors. It is not FDA-approved for the treatment of hair loss, and human safety data are limited.

IMPORTANT FORMULATION NOTE:

Do not automatically add ½–1 gram RU-58841 to hyaluronic acid serum.

RU-58841 has different solubility and formulation requirements than water-soluble cosmetic peptides. Use only an appropriately formulated topical vehicle and concentration consistent with the raw-material supplier's specifications.

Scalp Use:

• Scalp only

• Apply only to intact skin

• Avoid the face, eyes and mucous membranes

• Wash hands thoroughly after handling

• Allow the product to dry completely before contact with bedding, hats or other people

• Avoid use on freshly microneedled, irritated or broken skin

IMPORTANT: Because RU-58841 remains investigational and lacks established FDA-approved human dosing and safety instructions, this guide does not provide a medical treatment dose or concentration.

MICRONEEDLING AND PROCEDURE GUIDANCE:

Do not automatically apply concentrated peptide powders, RU-58841, Retinol or other non-sterile topical products directly onto freshly microneedled skin.

Microneedling temporarily compromises the skin barrier and may substantially increase penetration of ingredients that were formulated only for intact topical skin.

Allow the skin barrier to recover before resuming potentially irritating or non-sterile topical formulations.

PROFESSIONAL NOTE:

Topical peptide concentration is ingredient-specific. While a ½–1 gram range may be appropriate for certain cosmetic peptide raw materials, it should not be treated as a universal concentration for every peptide or topical active.

• Raw-material concentration and purity

• Solubility

• Final formulation volume

• Skin or scalp tolerance

Patch testing is recommended before widespread use.
