Proverbs 4 is titled "Security in wisdom"
This is such a powerful part of Scripture. The writings of Proverbs are attributed to King Solomon, the son of David. Solomon was known for his God-given wisdom, and in Proverbs 4, he speaks of 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 and how his father taught him to get 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 and understanding.
In Proverbs, he describes 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 as a woman. I rewrote it and inserted the word 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 where he refers to "her"; it becomes very powerful:
Do not forsake 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 and 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 will preserve you;
Love 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎, and it will keep you;
𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 is the principal thing;
Therefore, get 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎.
And in all your getting get understanding.
Exalt 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 and 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 will promote you;
𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 will bring you honor,
when you embrace it.
𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 will place on your head an
ornament of grace;
A crown of glory 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 will deliver to you.
Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life be many.
I have taught you in the way of 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎;
I have led you in right paths.
When you walk, your steps
will not be hindered.
And when you run, you will not stumble.
Take firm hold of instructions,
do not let go.
Keep 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎, for 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 is your life.
