Location diversity
Each store buys different styles, brands, seasons and some even vintage. The more you sell locally the more you will get to know each store better and what types of things they buy.
One of my main Uptown Cheapskate runs is in North/Central Austin and currently they are still buying summer 😱 I know this because I am there so often that the buyer knows me and will tell me exactly what inventory they need and so I know what to source.
However, the other locations are buying denim, fall/winter items, and back to school styles with each store buying slightly differently. The cheat sheet I posted the other day is a helpful tip, but also just asking the buyers what they are currently taking in is helpful too 🛍️
