Does anyone know how to reduce the amount of traffic which gets classed as 'direct'?
I see the explanation Skool gives, but I don't use URL shorteners. I'll often drop my link (taken directly from the 'share your Skool link' button on your dashboard and put it into What's App messages. I'm sure those listed as 'raccoonandbear.co.uk' will be from links I've put on my landing pages hosted on my domain.
But I'm foxed by the volume from Direct. Maybe it's from links I put in my emails, which are put in button graphics but not shortened as far as I know. I've noticed I've had quite a lot of clicks on those buttons in my email campaigns.
I want to solve this so I can get better insights. For info, I'm on a Hobby plan rather than a Pro.
