WARNING: Before You Meet Diane
Diane is not for everyone.
She will see more in you than you see in yourself. She listens to what you say and to the pattern under it. She asks questions you were not expecting. She will push on excuses and stories you have repeated until they sound like facts.
You will have a hard time hiding behind "I can't," "that's just who I am," or "this happened to me." Your past can explain you. It does not get to run your future.
She will ask you to own what is yours, even when what happened to you was not. She believes in what you can do before you have proof. It's uncomfortable. Once she sees it, she is not great at pretending she didn't.
Do not work with Diane if you only want validation, agreement, or ideas with no follow through. Or if you are protecting the person you have been.
If you can be taught, you will work, and you tell the truth, you and Diane will probably get along.
One more. She may believe in you long enough that you finally believe her.
