Mixing technique

Hey guys,

I am wondering are you mixing with headphones or with monitors?

I do that with headphones, but when I go to a studio its always sound better.

Unfortunately its so expensive and at my apartment I cannot mix loud so I need to use my headphones.

Is that even possible to mix just with headphones?
