Could you please introduce yourself? Not only does this allow us to get to know everyone, but SKOOL is built on points. (Liking, Commenting, and Posting all give you points). Points will also unlock classroom courses for you! Check out the Getting Started Welcome Course: https://swiy.co/getting-started So let's get things started! When I was teaching in the classroom, we would go around the room and have you do the following. 1. State Your Name (Skool does this one for us - lol) 2. What had you been interested in learning to code? 3. What is your favorite potato? Me: What sparked my interest was my enjoyment of problem-solving and making life easier for myself. I wanted to learn how to create apps that could help my kids learn math and spelling, so I developed apps for that purpose. As far as a favorite potato. I would say Chick-fil-A fries. 🔥 As always, help this community grow. Skool gives you a special invite code. This also serves as your affiliate code, as being part of this group gives you the ability to earn a 40% commission. This applies to one-time purchases of courses or our premium membership.

Free AI Training from Dr. Emily Hill for 10 Sep 2026
So I'm super excited to introduce everybody to the group, Dr. @Emily Hill. I've been following her for a while and invited her to the group because she has some Free Training that is a perfect fit for this community. I did ask her to do a really brief introduction video to introduce her to all of you! I've personally been to several of her training webinars. Not only is she knowledgeable about the tech industry, but she is also a great speaker. So who is this Free AI training for? If you’ve ever thought, "there should be an app for this," whether that's for personal or business use, it makes no difference. This training could get you on the right path to turning your idea into something tangible. Dr. @Emily Hill , a tech founder and former computer science professor, is hosting a free live session focused on helping consultants, educators, and service providers turn their domain expertise into scalable software using AI. The session focuses entirely on the logistics of validating a software idea and mapping out a build path without the traditional overhead of a development team or coding experience. So if you have been thinking about an app that you would like to build and are looking to validate and follow a pattern to production, then make sure you sign up for this webinar. 👉 Registration Link: https://elev8tek.com/discover 👉 Check Your Time Zone I added it to The Code Zone calendar in our group so you will get the reminder as well! Everyone in here is welcome to attend!

🔥 Take Advantage before the Trial Option is Gone
I just want to put this out there because I know some of you all hit the like button on the previous post about Ben's Community "Ranked Revenue Bootcamp" I just got done talking with Ben; he said he's now offering a FREE 7-DAY trial, so I wanted to make sure everybody in this group is aware of it. This was NOT turned on when he initially came into the group. Make sure you use this link: https://www.skool.com/rankedrevenuebootcamp/about?ref=8069605c014e4d2d9395963e55869317 Personally, I have gone through it, created a couple of sites, and even learned to set up AI Voice agents. All great skills to use in the real world. Bonus Skills that I didn't expect to get out of going through his course: - Using Make Dot Com and setting up webhooks - Twilio Integration (I've always wanted to go through this, but it was nice to have a guide) - Exploring AI Voice Answering (Me wanting to self-learn about it and now I have it working!) - More understanding of Local SEO and Ranking (Everyone can use this one) - Airtable Integration Link to the OG Post with video introduction: https://www.skool.com/the-code-zone/meet-ben-van-harten-from-ranked-revenue-bootcamp-skool-community?p=8833ffca Feel free to DM me if you want to take a look at the sites I built.

New Website Template Added - Exterior Cleaning & Power Washing
The backstory on this one is that the person this was designed for was on the Nextdoor app and had some back-and-forth conversations. Later, he was mentioning that this was more just a hobby and he really didn't want a website, so his loss, our community's gain. Google Gemini was used to create the video background that you see on the web page itself. The instructions are in the README file.

Sometimes AI Needs a Push in the Right Direction
Can anyone relate to this story? So I was having AI help me today build a line graph chart for sign-ups, and you can see how it evolved after each prompt generation. Sometimes the AI reminds me a little bit like a child because you give it a task and it says, "Oh, I can do this by myself. I don't need your help, Dad." But I did give it two chances to fix it. In the second attempt, I said that it was very crowded and it should use the entire space to make this way more readable. And then in the last attempt, I said: "I know that there are NPM packages out there that would be able to have a line graph that is out of the box already made for this type of request. Let's look into that option. " And that's where you finally see the final line graph being made and it found a NPM package that could be used. I'm always telling students out there, who are doing this by hand, that if you are thinking about something that would really make your app more useful (ie a calendar modal, pie charts..etc), there might already be something out there that would make your job way easier.
