My 3-source content research system
I don't guess what to post. I research it, using three sources.
1. TikTok search
I search my niche keyword, sort by most viewed and watch the top 10–20 like a student. I note the hook structure, the length, the pacing and whether they use text overlay.
2. Reddit
I find the subreddits in my niche and read the most upvoted posts, then the comments. That's where I find the exact words my audience uses, the questions they keep asking and the frustrations nobody is solving.
3. Cross-niche
I look at what's going viral in completely different niches. Formats that work there but aren't being used in mine yet are free wins.
The key is to log the pattern, not the video. "Direct callout + bold claim" is something you can reuse. One viral video on its own isn't.
Thirty minutes of research a week beats three hours of staring at a blank page.
Reddit is super underrated!!!
