Testing lab for peptides
We just returned from touring a product testing facility in San Diego, California. We got to see the inside and outside of the facility and interview one of the lead chemists, who walked us through the equipment and explained how different products—including peptides—are tested.
The lab checks for a range of substances and contaminants, including endotoxins, toxins, and fentanyl. During our conversation, the chemist also described samples that reportedly came back with no detectable peptide content, along with a growing problem some in the industry are calling “fake-tides.”
That’s a serious reminder to ask questions and look for reliable, transparent testing. Buyer beware—and watch the videos for more context from our tour and interview.
