Referrals Aren't Requested... They're Earned
Many providers ask,
"How do I get more referrals?"
A better question is...
"Why would another provider confidently trust me with their patient?"
Referral relationships aren't built through business cards.
They're built through consistency.
Communication.
Professionalism.
Collaboration.
When another provider recommends you, they're placing part of their own reputation behind that recommendation.
That's a privilege.
Great referral partners consistently:
• Communicate well
• Return calls
• Send thoughtful consultation notes
• Respect collaborative care
• Care for patients exceptionally well
This Week's Action Step
Reach out to one referral partner this week.
Not to ask for referrals.
Simply to strengthen the relationship.
