Decision for a Casting
Hey guys,
I have to make a decision and I need your help. There's a performing arts contest for young performers (between the ages of 16-24 years old) here in Spain and the organization has texted me through social media, telling me that I have the kind of talent they are looking for and that I should apply for it. And there's obviously a casting process. So I have to send a video of one of my routines. And I can't decide which one I should send between my best 2 routines. I'm uploading both of them here and I would really appreciate if you could tell me which one you think I should send because I really can't decide.
In the first one, before doing vent, I tell the audience that we're going to travel to a cinema and we're going to see the first movie that was actually in color. And then the routine starts, and the song of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" starts playing and I do Judy Garland's voice while I eat the popcorns. Suddenly, the phone of the person of my left starts ringing and I react. Then I look to my right and I fall in love with that person. And all of that happens while I eat popcorns and do Judy Garland's voice.
In the second one, I introduce my muppet Zeppelin and she sort of has a crush on me. When I perform I'm the shy one and she is totally the opposite. So she starts singing "I have Nothing" of Whitney Houston, to me and then I decide to follow her and do the same, and it becomes a love duo. Then I surprise her with her favorite rock and roll song, which is ACDC's "Highway To Hell" and we finish the routine.
I'm really really lost with this decision and I would appreciate if you could tell me with which one you'd apply for the casting or which one you like the most. Thank you for your time and for being there. This truly is an amazing community.
