to skool or not
Hey everyone! I am trying to make a decision, but I don't feel like I have definitive data in order to make a best decision. I know the value of having a community and hosting my freebie in a skool group would definitely help with building an email list and a community at the same time. And I like the idea of having a ready source of comments to be able to reply to and even use it to build out content as I do best in response.
However, I have a few concerns:
  1. In my previous business, I had a Facebook group, and it took until you got to like 400+ people for anybody to really say anything. The constant posting and lives to crickets, even though I knew it was part of the process (and I have had several people say how helpful it was and they watched them all even when I didn't know), was such a struggle mentally and emotionally. I'm not really keen on the idea of doing that again.
  2. I know that one to one and small groups are what I've always been good with, so worry about keeping up the energy in perpetuity with a membership/ free group.
  3. I'm a high ticket coach and strategist, I do plan on having a low ticket offer, but it was more one offs in my head, so not sure about what I would even do for a premium that would still guide people to my high ticket services or if my ideal client even does these groups or not...
I also love groups. I love being in groups and communities, and I'm just trying to work out in my brain if this is a direction I should go. I'm just looking for more input and data, really, and if we could help, that would be great.
