A Little Fire Post
OK, a little fire and knife. I recently added to my Migizi Outdoors / Patrick Russell collection. The bushcraft / survival is still the brute but only by a sliver, the Tracker comes in a close second, but is a substantial knife itself, the Puuko is ready to do some carving, and the Companion is stages to hold down the neck knife duties.
The feather sticks were courtesy of the Tracker. The Scandi grind engages the wood like nobody’s business. The handle fits very nicely in your hands and I don’t feel like I have to grip the blade quite so aggressively. Let me work it a little bit and I will do a review. My initial impression is very positive as a very traditional bushcraft knife. Well done and thank you .
Flint and steel - because I know my grandson will be dragging his kit out and I needed to practice up. Repetitions.
